More about Steven Beck.  Growing up in High Point, Steven has remained in the Triad from day one. A High Point University alum, Steven started his college life entrenched in college basketball prepping for a career as a coach. Before his Panthers days were over, he had modeled on billboards, launched an apparel brand with friends, and jumped into sports talk radio. 

His first job out of college was actually on WSJS. Steven has now shifted to growing entrepreneurial endeavors, and has launched a few businesses that have called NC home. It was his love of radio, sports, a mind for business, and just living life in NC, that eventually led Steven to start Waking Up Prowled.
