After a perfect season, the Grimsley Whirlies are the 2024 State 4A Champions.  Quarterback Faizon Brandon led the team to a 35-23 win over Rolesville at Kenan Memorial Stadium in Chapel Hill.  It was the second state championship in three years for the Grimsley Whirlies and 9th overall.  Be sure to say “Thank You” to all of the WSJS High School Football sponsors who made our live coverage possible all season long.
